Day 2 in Itasca
We started the morning early again with a 6:20 am wake up call, and 6:30 breakfast. There were clouds in the sky, making the work cool and pleasant. Some of our group helped cook the big BBQ lunch with the residents, and boy oh boy was it good! After lunch we headed back to the work sites to finish up the projects for the day. Every year it seems we get the work done faster than they can hand it out, and today we held up to that standard! The pool was open during free time and everyone enjoyed the cool weather. There will be a movie at 8:00 with fresh baked chocolate chip cookies as part of devo. :) And God saw that it was good. It was evening; it was morning, Day 7.
